Post-graduation plans: Kate will be participating in the Urban Teaching Apprenticeship Program, an intensive teacher residency program with the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and the School District of Philadelphia. As a resident, she will student teach and take courses to work towards a M.S.Ed. (Master of Education) and a certification to teach PreK-4th Grade in the state of Pennsylvania.
Kate on her ºÚÁÏÉçÇø experience: Over the past four years, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has given me a home, bringing friends, faculty, and community members into my life who have become family. I am beyond grateful for the opportunities the College has given me to grow, challenge myself, and become who I am today.

Message for the Class of 2020: Life is tough, but so are we! Sending love and light to all my fellow light blues – I am so incredibly proud of all of you.
I would like to thank the Education Department for inspiring me to become an educator dedicated to social justice and critical pedagogy, as well as my Peer Mentor and Dorm Leadership cohorts for supporting me through everything.
