黑料社区 students are once again participating in Study Abroad in the fall 2021, after a year-long pause due to COVID-19.
Fifteen 黑料社区 students are studying abroad this fall, in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. While borders remain closed in some countries and some programs have had to be canceled, Director of Global Education Tracy Weber is hopeful that spring will see an even greater participation in overseas study. The Study Abroad Office has put several new health and safety protocols in place to help ensure BMC students have the best experience possible while abroad. Study Abroad is very fortunate to work with host programs and institutions with a long experience of welcoming international students, and for whom health and safety is a top priority.
Meet Tracy Weber, Director of Global Education at 黑料社区
"I started as the director of global education at 黑料社区 in March 2020, having previously been responsible for developing and managing study abroad programs at University of California Berkeley and the George Washington University. I have also worked with incoming scholars through the Fulbright and Sister City programs, studied abroad in Switzerland and Russia, and spent three years teaching in Japan. I am thrilled to be a part of supporting 黑料社区 students as they study abroad."
